What's the biggest challenge you're facing with Pay Per Call campaigns in 2026?

I've been following the Pay Per Call space for a while, and it feels like the landscape keeps changing every year.

For those actively running campaigns in 2026, what's been your biggest challenge lately?

  • Generating high-quality calls
  • Tracking and attribution issues
  • Call fraud or spam
  • Finding reliable publishers/traffic sources
  • Rising acquisition costs
  • Compliance and regulations
  • Something else?

I'd love to hear what you're struggling with and what strategies or tools have helped you overcome it. Maybe we can all learn something from each other's experiences.

I think it depends on the business. If you get a lot of leads through phone calls, call tracking can be really useful. It helps you see where calls are coming from and whether your marketing is actually working.

For small businesses, even simple insights like missed calls or peak calling times can make a difference. I wouldn't say it's a must-have for everyone, but if calls are an important part of your business, it's definitely worth looking into.

@shanaya-raina That makes sense. I guess it really comes down to how important phone calls are for the business. We're getting more inquiries through calls lately, so I'm trying to figure out if call tracking would give us better visibility into what's working and what's not.

Appreciate you sharing your experience!

@matthew-harris Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to figure out. We do get a decent number of calls, but right now we have no way of knowing which marketing efforts are actually driving them.

@shanaya-raina I haven't started using one yet, which is why I posted this question. 😄

I'm mainly looking for something that can show where calls are coming from and help track missed calls. Still exploring options and trying to understand what features people actually find useful before making a decision.
